Forms & feedback content blocks
Forms & feedback content blocks
The forms & feedback blocks are how you collect opinions, preferences and details, and turn a one-way experience into a conversation. Everything viewers answer in these blocks is saved and shown on your Analytics dashboard, so you can act on what you learn.
Forms & Feedback blocks
- Checklist
- Form
- Image download
- Leaderboard
- Open question
- Poll
- Review request
A few options you'll see on most blocks:
- Header image / media — add a visual at the top of the block.
- Explanation after finish — a text panel shown after the viewer presses Continue.
- Continue button text — customise the button label (it auto-translates on publish).
- Layout — control how the block is displayed on screen.
Checklist
A Checklist shows a list of options the viewer can tick off — as many as they like. Use it to ask what matters to them, which features they're interested in, or to let them self-select from a set.
What you can set:
- Items — add each option with a label and an optional description. Add as many as you need.
- Required — when on, the viewer must select at least one item to continue.
- Min / max answers — set how few or how many items a viewer is allowed to pick.

Form
The Form block gathers structured, personal information — the block to reach for when you need names, emails or other details. Use variables to collect the data and reuse it anywhere ( {{@email}} , {{@name}} ).
What you can set:
- Fields — add one input per thing you want to collect. Field types include text, number, email, name, long text, zipcode, country, dropdown, and file upload.
- Per-field options — give each field a label, a placeholder, an optional description, and mark it required. Dropdowns get their own list of choices; file uploads can be limited to certain types (PDF, image, video).
- Consent — add an opt-in or a notice with your own text, so you collect details the right way.
Personalise the story — show the viewer's name in a later text block.
Branch on it — send viewers down different paths depending on their answers.
Send it onward — pass the data to another tool, like your CRM or ATS.

Leaderboard
The Leaderboard tracks viewers' scores and displays a ranking, which makes it a natural fit for competitive quizzes and interactive challenges. Drop it in where you want to show viewers how they stack up.
Once you have created the questions and set up the scoring system, the leaderboard will display the rankings as soon as the viewer has answered the questions.
You can show multiple leaderboards in a story to show the progress.
When the viewer reach to leaderboard you will see a popup to fill in a nickname to the scoreboard.

Open question
An Open question asks anything and accepts any answer — free text, no restrictions. It's perfect for surveys, feedback and ideas, and it doubles as the way to capture a viewer's own words for later.
What you can set:
- Question / prompt text — what you're asking.
- Placeholder — hint text inside the input field.
- Required — whether an answer is needed to continue.
An open question's answer can be stored in a variable and reused later in the story (for example, greeting the viewer by the name they typed).
If you want to view the submissions in your statistics, create a variable for this answer. You can select ‘logic’ and create a variable, for example ‘openquestion’. The submissions will then be displayed on the Analytics tab under ‘Submissions’. Here you will find all the variables in a single overview.

Poll
A Poll lets viewers rate something on a scale — with numbers, emoji, or an agree/disagree slider. Great for gauging opinion, interest or skill level, and you can ask several rating questions in one block.
What you can set:
- Poll type — choose Agree/disagree, Number, Emoji, or a Custom scale (for example Red flag → Green flag).
- Multiple questions — add several rating items in one poll, each with its own title and image.
- Scale — set the range and the labels at each end.
- Result messages — show a custom message based on the viewer's combined score. For example, one message for a score of 3–8 and another for 9–15.

You can also add text once the viewer has given their answer. So you can set up text to appear after the viewer has chosen answer 4 or 5, and different text for answers 1, 2 or 3 (on a scale of 1-5).

When you have setup Logic and connect the answers to variables, then you can see the variables in the submission tab in your analytics overview. Just like the setup below.

Review request
The Review request block asks viewers what they think of your story. Add it at any point to collect a rating and comments.
What you can set:
- Title & subtitle — frame the ask in your own words.
- Image — add a visual to match your story.

When you go to "Logic," you can set up variables to track your viewers. Of course, you can see all the feedback in your review overview in the Analytics tab. On top of that, you can go to the Submission tab to see all the variables that were submitted. These variables can be reused within the story or sent to other software.

Ideas & Inspiration
- Qualify a lead with a Form, then send the details straight to your CRM.
- Gauge the room with a Poll and show a tailored message based on the score.
- Add friendly competition with a Leaderboard at the end of a quiz.
- Capture their voice with an Open question and reuse the answer to personalise the rest of the story.
- Close the loop with a Review request to learn how the experience landed.
