# How to preview a story

# How to use : Preview

**Preview** shows your Story the way a real viewer experiences it, no publishing required, so you can catch anything that needs a tweak first.

## The full-story preview
The general **Preview** plays through *all* your content blocks, giving you the same experience a viewer gets once your Story is live. It's the best way to walk your Story end to end and check that everything flows the way you intended.

## Preview a single content block

Working on one specific block? You can preview *just that block* instead of clicking through everything before it. Use the preview option on the content block itself, and the Story opens starting from that block.

Handy when you're deep in a Story and want to check one screen without replaying the whole thing from the top.

## Preview on desktop or on your phone 
You can preview on your **desktop** right in the browser, or on your **phone** to see how it feels in the hand.

To preview on mobile:
1. Hover over the **Preview** button.
2. Select **Preview on mobile**.
3. A **QR code** appears
4. Scan it with your phone
5. Your Story opens on your phone, ready to test.
